Tuckerman Ravine

  This newly constructed ski shelter has a beautiful setting near the floor of Tuckerman Ravine and under rugged crags at Boot Spur.  It serves countless thousands of skiers who throng this Winter Playground in Pinkham Notch, New Hampshire.  Two popular ski trails starting near Appalachian Mt. Club Headquarters on Route 16 lead by this shelter.

  TUCKERMAN RAVINE IN SPRINGTIME, MT. WASHINGTON, WHITE MOUNTAINS, NEW HAMPSHIRE.  Late spring and early summer skiing is popular on these vast slopes of the White Mountains.  This view shows the center of the head wall.   Tuckerman Ravine, Mt. The many alpine ski trails on Waterville Valley's Mt. Tecumseh stand out against the background of the surrounding White Mountain National Forest.  

HIGH COUNTRY DOUBLE CHAIRLIFT AT MT TECUMSEH SKI AREA WATERVILLE, NEW HAMPSHIRE  "On a clear day you can see forever" from this lift which has highest base elevation  (3400ft) of any chairlift in the east, assuring early and late skiing.

  Tracks in the early morning powder are the only evidence left by skiers at Waterville Valley, New Hampshire.
