A historical look at skiing through the years, using photos, trail maps, brochures, booklets and other memorabilia.  

I have learned so much about the history of skiing from old brochures, posters, postcards, booklets and other memorobilia.  By studying these you can see how the sport has changed over the years and gain a greater appreciation for skiing and snow sports as we know them today.
I have been collecting  for the several years now. I can think of no better way to share this with others than through this web page. I hope that you enjoy my efforts and find the postcards, images and other items I have posted here interesting and entertaining.
The many different brochures booklets and other memorabilia I have from different periods of ski history should help to provide a greater appreciation and understanding of the advances that have been experienced in skiing since its beginnings in the United States.  I will try to update this site frequently.  Though my primary focus will be the Northeastern United States, other brochures and memorabilia will be posted as it becomes available. Site Updates!!!

This site began in February of 2003 with a single page containing postcards and a couple pins.  Since that time it has grown to include over 1000 postcards, a couple hundred brochures and many other articles from ski history.  I would like to thank my friends and supporters for helping this happen.
